[2] 23 - Concealing an Accidental Death

The deliberate intent, by an individual attempting to conceal an accidental death. Concealment can include any of the following; concealing a corpse of someone who accidentally died, destroying, tampering, planting or hiding evidence in relation to the accidental death or hiding the objects/instruments involved in the death.

Example: Person A suddenly dies of a heart attack. Person B then hides the body of Person A and fails to report it to law enforcement or SAFR.

Note: Charge shall not be stacked with [7] 9 Possession Of Human Remains. This is because [7] 9 Possession Of Human Remains shall be physical organs or decomposed body parts (limbs etc).

Sentence: 250 Seconds
