[8] 10 - Possession of Unregistered Firearm

Any person found to be in possession of a firearm, regardless of past criminal record or license to carry, while the firearm is not registered.

Felony

Firearm shall be confiscated.

This code specifically applies to weapons which are not registered at all. Weapons which are registered to one person but in the possession of another person do not fall under this code; however, whomever possesses said firearm must still not be a felon and must have a valid license, otherwise they are violating other weapons laws.
